The Government of India has come up with a scheme called ‘Transport and Marketing Assistance’ (TMA) to provide financial assistance for exporting specified agriculture products to international market.

The assistance will be given for the international component of freight and marketing of agricultural produce which in turn will reduce the cost of transportation as well as promote brand recognition for Indian agricultural products in the specified overseas markets.

Currently the scheme will be effective from 1 March 2019 to 31 March 2020.
