Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana

 It has been formulated to promote Organic Farming.

 The objective is to promote eco-friendly concept of cultivation reducing the dependency on agro-chemicals and fertilizers and to optimally utilize the locally available natural resources for input production. (Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana)

 It will be implemented in a cluster based approach and farmers will be funded to meet the expenditure from farm to market. (Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana)

 Government is promoting organic farming through various schemes/ programmes under:

• National Mission for Sustainable Agriculture (NMSA)/ Paramapragat
• Krishi Vikas Yojana (PKVY),

• National Mission on Oilseeds & Oil Palm (NMOOP)
• Network Project on Organic Farming of ICAR.
